A risk-taker with a love for adventure and sport.
- Jimmy is a twelve-year-old boy who lives with his mother.
- He recently lost his father in a fire. This is a trauma that he is still getting used to.
- James is an only child who loves adventure and sport.
- He is very friendly and charismatic as well as a risk taker.
- He is sometimes impatient and does not always understand the situations that he gets himself into.
- James is very loyal to his friends and family.
- He is thrust into leading the group, sometimes his decisions lead to real trouble.
Gillian – The Fearless Challenger
Smart, strong, and always up for a daring mission.
- Gillian is a 12-year-old girl who recently moved to Australia from her home in San Diego.
- Her father is in the US Navy and is working at the Naval base at Pelican Cove.
- Gillian is African American and very athletic in appearance.
- She has a witty sense of humour and never backs down from a challenge.
- Her personality is friendly, and her loyalty is unquestioned.
- Gillian is prepared to take calculated risks and occasionally completes reckless tasks that are not appreciated by her protective parents.
Tech – The Tech Genius
A brilliant mind who uses technology to solve problems.
- Tech was born in Thailand and moved to Australia when he was 2 years old.
- He is fluent in both English and Thai languages.
- Tech is a technical genius, writing his own computer programs and having access to a sea of technological gadgets.
- He is working well above average in all school subjects except Physical Education.
- Tech is a very loyal person both to his family and his friends.
- He is willing to take calculated risks, and these escapades usually involve the use of technology.
Taj – The Athletic Hero
A loyal friend who never backs down from danger.
- Taj is a 12-year-old boy who lives in Pelican Cove with his 2 parents and twin sister Phoebe.
- He is a sporting superstar and physically strong.
- Taj is the school swimming and athletics champion, and he is also excellent at football and cricket.
- Taj is prepared to save his friends when faced with a dangerous situation, putting his own safety at risk when the need arises.
- His loyalty to his friends and family is very strong and he also has a caring side for his sister.
Phoebe – The Voice of Reason
An animal lover with a thoughtful and caring nature.
- Phoebe is a 12-year-old girl and twin sister to Taj - 6 minutes younger!
- She is not physically strong, but her determination is one of her many qualities.
- She is an animal lover and thrives on caring for her dogs and the local bird community.
- Her dog walking business keeps her busy on some school days.
- Phoebe is the voice of reason and always prefers to take risk free options when solving problems.
- She is an avid reader and always presents her group with her point of view.
- Phoebe is quick thinking, and she makes the occasional risky decision if she feels she is helping her friends.
